This program is tailored for parents who support the idea that children are entitled to be free to explore, experiment and discover in the outdoors – YES, in the dirt, rain, snow, and mud! We have created a fun, interactive learning environment in our lush forest that connects children to nature, each other, and themselves.

BENEFITS

From playing on iPads to watching television, children are spending more time than ever indoors. Numerous studies have highlighted the negative impact this is having on their health and development. However, research is also discovering that there are countless advantages to children spending time outdoors. The benefits of outdoor play are awesome! Playing outdoors promotes well-being and wholesome physical development. Children are naturally drawn to active play outdoors; it allows them to explore their environment, develop muscle strength and coordination, and gain self-confidence.

At KIN, all children are given the same opportunities to explore their environment. Whether it be digging up worms, painting in the woods or rolling down a hill, everyone gets to have fun and test their abilities as much or as little as they would like.
